I have a lot of fun perusing the listings on German eBay. I'm always
surprised by all the parts for non-US cars that appear there. Here's a link
to Alfa 164 parts on German eBay.

Subject: [alfa] 164 twin spark

Hello Alfisti,

After a longish hibernation, I am trying to resurface into the Alfa world. I
still have Sofia the Wonder car, ('91 168 base) which has been in the garage
since 2006, and needs to be brought back to life soon.

But I am writing here because I have a light side project, a 1995 164 Twin
Spark. It's a car that has seen some daily driver use for a long time and it
shows. But it has typical Alfa charm and if our friends at Alfa had imported
this car, they'd be everywhere. Frankly, it's much more charming than the
V6, and a beautiful timing chain!! I am looking for some good honest sources
across the pond for good used parts. I found a new clutch, that's done, and
mechanically it's very solid. A pair of new yellow fog lights make her look
whole again. I'm about to prep the Euro headlamps to go back in... this car
is actually the source of the Euros that Sofia has had for 13 years. I do
need some cosmetic items to make it right. I'm going to leave it in it's
current state of patina, so maybe just maybe, I can haul on up to the
convention this year. Never been to Kin'tucky. If anyone has suggestions for
goo used suppliers, I'd appreciate them.
