I bought a 1750 last year as a possible drop-in for a friend's TI, but the compression wasn't good enough to use as is. Numbers were like 70, 80, 100. Oil pressure was good, and it turned freely. SN AR0551*06464*, it's a 71 US 1750 for Spider, GTV, Berlina. Complete engine with Spica manifold, water pump, Marelli distributor, alternator, oil filter, flywheel. No Spica pump, no starter.
Appears to be good core for rebuild, but I've only tested it on the floor, not in a car, and have not opened it up. $500, pick up in Berkeley or happy to help if you figure out shipping. Can deliver along SF-LA route, no immediate travel plans though. Can send pic, or see ad on Parts forum on AlfaBB.
