What was working---turn indicator blinkers, low gas alarm light, instruments,
engine, windshield wipers

What wasn't---any and all lights, internal and external including instrument
lights (except for those mentioned above), and the radio.

I looked at fuses for the various lights--all fine---Sooooo took off the
steering column covers to get at the switch (even though it couldn't have
switched all the above)--found no voltage at one of the switch inputs (must
have been another, since the blinkers worked, but didn't find it)--but the
fuses were fine--checked for various voltages in the engine compartment, all
OK--now what?

Looked at fuses again, all fine except for #2, which the manual says is for
the blower motor. Replaced it---bingo, now everything works!

Anybody out there have any idea what's up (except for a drunk Alfa assembly
guy?)

         Alan Lambert

now I'll go put everything back together
