Ibll be coming down in Dec for a month, and maybe Ibll actually get to meet you then! Some time ago, I was looking at the ads on the BB and saw your race car engine ad. I was so intimidated by the details. I wish I knew that much about what Russ has. It probably would sell better. Did you get yours sold?
When I went to convention in July, I made an ad for the b wanna be race carb . I didnbt get one inquiry about it. The attached photos, which arenbt good, are of a 91 Spider webve had since 2003. Russ bought it off eBay out of California. It is an automatic and has the engine in it. However, he bought a standard engine that is on an engine stand in the garage. And he has a cylinder head that was built by the local mechanic to go in the car. Itbs b supedb up someway, but I donbt know how. And oddly, the mechanic didnbt remember quite what he did to it. I know his intention was to build an IT car out of this. He had the SCCA rules changed so that the engine would be legal. The seats in the car are actually fairly good. It has a salvaged title. Russ thought the damage on the front end could be b pulled outb . Several people have told me the same thing. Others have told me this is a real big project. He also has a nose from another spider that he was going to put on it. And I have a front bumper with the logo off another 91 that should probably go with it. I donbt know where he intended to get the transmission b I havenbt seen one of those lying around! Do you know somebody that might want a project? Ibm thinking $3,000 for all of it? He had more than that in it. By the way, the hard top is not included. It goes on my 91 street spider and Ibm keeping it.
