I vaguely recall a post and picture many years ago of a
custom bike rack for a Spider that used the mounting
points for the hard top as a base for a bar across the
rear that allowed fork style clamping of road bikes.

I believe the rack owner might have been Mike Williams
in Sacramento.

I can't find the post anywhere.

I have a Hollywood scissor style bike rack for my Spider
that uses foam blocks and a bunch of straps I rarely use.

Mostly I just flip my bike upside down on the rear tray
behind the seat.

I'm buying an Alfa bike to match the car.

btw: if anyone has interest in buying one, some are
still available here:

It's too pretty to flip the bike upside down and I want to
transport it without scratching.

Anyone have any clue about the custom bike rack?
