i think i am still here. ;~) i joined sometime in the mid 90's; i discovered the digest after purchasing my 1st alfa, a werde, in '92. it was a long time coming, i almost purchased a '72 berlina in '76, but the 2nd gear crunch scared me off. since the werde, i have owned several, some at the same time. now, i am down to a single lonely '85.5 gtwe6, w/a werde engine and some other mods.
mebbe the digest traffic will start to pick up again, when new ones start arriving. i think fewer & fewer use their alfas as daily drivers, due to shortages of parts/etc., that likely has decreased the traffic. i know i stopped using mine as a daily driver about 3 years ago. the latest word is the new dodge dart, scheduled to be here early next year, is an alfa! ;~) doug s. -- to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected]
