I'm still here, still aghast at the flurry of nasty SPAM we've had,
especially since it's pretending to come from good friends and other
trusted posters.
Been here since I first got online in '98, and quickly fell into John
Hertzman's orbit, both in this forum and privately. Still miss him
terribly, and Fred as well. I see this more frequently than I do AlfaBB
for the simple reason that it comes to me, instead of making me go to it
and give it my password. There are so many social and special-interest
web groups going on now that just the ones that drop stuff in my box
every day give me too many time-wasting opportunities as it is.
I'm still in Pasadena, despite the recent attempts by the weather to
blow me away; still have the Milano and the 164S, both running well,
plus our Subaru Forester, my Mom-in-law's early New Mini (with CVT,
ugh!) and my late Pa-in-law's Illegal Immigrant Citroen CX, that last
taking up an amazing amount of garage space.
