See my earlier post--I suspect that many of the "lost" messages just went to
your spam.
Best regards,

I'm still here. Been a member since around 2002, when I inherited my 1978
Chocolate Brown Spider, which I still own.
A while back I posted that I was surprised to find the car fail smog here in
California although the catalytic converter on the car only has 4,000 miles on
it. After spending about $600, I finally got it to pass, but it required
turning the altitude adjuster screw to its extreme position. Seems to have
done the trick and the car drives just fine. I guess there's nothing to be
worried about having it set that way?
Anyway, just wanted to say I'm on the list still.
One comment I would make is this, however. I'd find the list more interesting
and useful if people would actually reply TO the list more often. It seems
that many conversations get quickly taken off-list to private e-mail. That's
fine, if it's really private, but otherwise, let us in on it!

P.S. I had to miss the Alameda Italian car show this year. Anyone go? How was
it? Any good photos?
