So Harry, what you MEANT to say, is that you deliberately blocked the vent tube by inserting a blank in place of the gasket, to prove that a blocked oil/air separator would in fact cause oil to vent out of the cap......

I got distracted and did not cut the opening in the gasket.So the the engine decided to breathe out the oil cap.
