Are there any Mitsubishi Mirage forums to browse? Perhaps find a BTDT
solution there?
Is it corrosion of the steel pins or just that the lube doesn't last? If the
pins rust causing the problem I'd see if there is room inside the sliding
section to cover the steel pins with some heat shrink tube. Or try some
marine grease.
