Greeting to all Alfa Digest readers, I have been thinking about making two safety additions to my Duetto and would be interested in hearing from others with more experience.
First, I am thinking of addition of a roll bar. It must be age that makes me concerned about this, because I have not considered it during the first 45 years I have owned the car. Does anyone have experience with roll bars that would be designated as "street bars," i.e., those that will allow the top to go over it? Second, I have read about the suspension stabilizer. Is this strictly a performance option? What would I sacrifice if I added it to my car which is only used for casual club event driving (tours, tire kicking etc.). Would this addition add a measure of safety? Thanks for your comments. -- Daniel Nicholes '67 Duetto Sent with Sparrow (http://www.sparrowmailapp.com/?sig) -- to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected]
