Latest update: Since the right side worked and the left didn't, I removed the left board, it looked pretty good and I tidied it up a bit. Still no left blinking. I spoke with Jeff up at Motozane and got a few tips from him. I had to go see my mechanic anyway, so I went up so we could check the bulbs, even though visually they all looked good. We changed that one light bulb, "just in case" and everything is now fine! The sunroof surround he makes is great! It's machined out of a piece about 3/8" thick! Clean and wire brush those, and treat them with some Deoxit or other good contact cleaner. And don't forget to check the grounds.. bs ________________________________ From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, April 26, 2012 11:25 AM Subject: [alfa] Re: Intermittently working turn signals ____________________________________ From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: 4/26/2012 11:24:32 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time Subj: Re: [alfa] Re: Intermittently working turn signals Hi Skip, This is part of the ongoing troubleshooting. Everything works...then, while I'm driving, they don't. Then later, they work again. I'm going to do the tail light board maintenance and see what happens from there. Some times it's only one side that doesn't work (at least according to the dash indicator light), so it's frustrating. The consensus seems to be, tidy up the boards, so that's next on the list. The Berlina just was in the shop for a $2,800 valve job and replacement of a broken 1:4 manifold and a cracked 2:3 manifold. Wrapping seems to have been an issue. Now that that car is back, I can concentrate on working on the GTV. Thank you! Stevan In a message dated 4/26/2012 11:10:46 A.M. If they don't, the switch is faulty especially if you can wiggle it and they all work. How about the 4 way flasher? Does that flash all the lights? Again if it does, the lights are fine.
