Alfisti, What's the best technique to restore the dash pad of a 66 Giulia GT? Thanks.

Since the ignition switch is neither easy or cheap to replace the frugal me would start by checking the fuse box very closely. On our '84 Spider it is fairly easy to unhook the fuse box, remove its rear panel and check all the wire harness connectors plugged in to the back side. (Not sure about your '87 Spider - I suspect the knee bolsters will be somewhat in the way but it should still be do-able - and worth doing). While you are at it I'd suggest replacing all the fuses. Although the blade type fuses are quite reliable they could be 25 years old - even the frugal me figures you got your monies worth out of them. Put some new good quality fuses in to eliminate them as a potential weakness.
