My local body shop, which does some restoration work, is good about sharing
their supply of sheet metal. They usually have 14, 16 and 18 gauge, which they
will sell or even give me. (I'm a fairly good customer.) The sheet metal shop
will put sheet through a brake for five dollars a bend, as long as I mark it
first. They say they can also do several diameters of radii before putting it
through the brake, but I have never actually had them do it.
