Just wondering if anyone lives near Les Hurlock in Newberg Oregon, or knows of someone who does? I had a successful but difficult business transaction with him, only because he and his wife are quite hard of hearing. Also, they do not check their email regularly. Please note that I am not criticizing them or complaining. I am too aware of the frailties of getting older. I placed an order for one of his Spin-On adapters for my 1969 Spider back in May. After much confusion, back and forth on the phone and Internet, and two months wondering, I received the adapter. The problem is that Les has not cashed my check, and I want him to be paid. I tried over the phone to explain the situation to his wife, but after much "what was that' she passed me off to Les who is even more hard of hearing. I have also sent several email carefully explaining that he has not cashed the check, and asking if he can find it. He has yet to answer the emails. I sent the check via USPS Priority Mail, and I have confirmation that it was delivered to his address on May 18th. If someone lived near by and could check with him for me, I would appreciate it. Again, let me emphasize that I am not criticizing Les. I greatly appreciate his effort to provide me with the part I needed. Let me know if you can help.
