Is the 105 bonnet set up the same as the front-hinged Alfettas? I successfully added some tension to an Alfetta by twisting the rod around one full turn.
BE CAREFUL as it's under a fair amount of tension, and best to have a trusted mate assist (one responsible for the rod, one for the retainer). I believe I only turned the rod on one side and that was sufficient.
