installing front shocks on an Alfa GTV-6 (or similar models). The lower  
bracket 
must closely align with the angle of the lower A-arm or it is impossible  to 
thread the two bolts used to secure it to the A-arm. The best way to adjust 
 the lower bracket, which pivots within the body of the shock, it to use a 
large  punch secured in a vise to rotate it (see photo).
