Someone on Ebay (in the US) is selling period-looking units with full
iPod/MP3 etc type capability. So you can get the look but play/store a
gazillion songs in ones-and-zeros format.

Subject: [alfa] Car stereo

I replaced my original radio in my '67 Giulia Super after I bought it many
years ago with a state of the art radio with a cassette player that was made
to fit in the original space in the dash without cutting or buggering it up.

It turns out cassette players are no longer state of the art! Duh.

Anyhow, I would like to replace the stereo with one that will play CDs (I
know, they are dinosaurs as well) and have a USB port allowing my iPhone to
play through the car system--by wire and/or Bluetooth. Does anyone have a
system to recommend? Any that fits the original holes and doesn't bugger up
the dash?

Thanks for your suggestions
