(1750 engine in 1971 2000 spider) replacement 10 year old pump bearing went (major bearing noise and wobble of pump shaft - pulley) and made a nice spray flinging off the pulley
nice new made in italy pump for "cheap" from IAP - needed to wait to get (difficult) one 45mm M6 stud because the boss between heater and recirc spigots was not faced to 35mm so after cleaning engine and touching up detail, careful priming etc... surprise - new pump from get-go is also flinging nice spray - admittedly it is a higher quality "finer" dispersion, however - very depressing any ideas? -- to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected]
