Well at least your authorities are being honest and open about their
revenue-gathering. Over here the revenue-collectors hide with their radar
guns behind bushes on perfectly straight safe-as-houses motorways and the
like, to catch those dangerous people going at the dizzying speed of 105
kph, and they call it making the roads safer. ("Oh, not at all, we're not
doing this just to write out tickets, no siree".. and they say it with
straight faces...)

Number of Speeding Tickets in Florida
In case you haven't seen tonight's news, the same guy who was responsible
for his company stealing taxpayer money before he became our Governor (HCA
was fined $1.7 billion for Medicare fraud.), now wants to steal more of
our money. He wants to give a $5,000 bonus to cops who double the number
of tickets they write. He calls it "Contacts." I bet it would exclude
him and all of his "buddies" in Tallahassee.
