Greg,
    A couple of suggestions:
If I remember correctly there is a small hole at the front of the gearbox
that wire comes thru and you probably won't be able to hit it from the top so
try running a new wire up from the bottom.
If that doesn't work you can try feeding some small string/thread thru
that hole then hit it with a blast of compressed air. After a while it should
blow out the steering wheel end.
You should be driving that thing by now and not still putzing with it ;-)

Subject: [alfa] Giulia Sprint GT horn wire

Gentle Alfisti,
In an effort to renew the horn wire that goes through the steering column on
my GT, I did a foolish thing and withdrew it from the front. It came out
easily. Now I cannot get a clear passage back through it to chase a snake of
any size. I went to the local hardware store and acquired very thin piano wire
to see if I could get an emergence on the bottom end, but the snake seems to
fetch-up in the boxes internals. The engine was recently installed. Has anyone
suffered this problem and, if so, will you kindly tell a co-sufferer the way
to get my red wire down through the Burmann box? Please.
