since you might race it, here are fuel cell basics (i'm chief of tech
for the Mohawk-Hudson and New York regions of the SCCA, been
doing this for 20 years):

fuel cell bladders should be to FIA FT-3 specs. ATL and
Fuel Safe are two longstanding reliable vendors who prepare
fuel cells to these standards.

fuel cells should generally be enclosed in steel cans. again,
they come from Fuel Safe and ATL with appropriate cans.

the steel cans should _NOT_ be welded into the car's structure.
build a framework of 1" steel box section for the fuel cell to sit in,
and weld that to the car. cutting out the trunk floor and lowering
the cell is reasonable, but the minimum distance from the road to
the cell should be 6" static height. use steel straps over the top to
hold the cell in the frame. the frame doesn't need to be very
complicated but it should keep the cell from moving around.
