Gentle Alfisti,
Here's something odd: the brake light switch is part of a hydraulic union
mounted to the firewall on this 66GT. It passes a continuity test when I step
on the pedal. I can make the ohm meter go from one to small fractions. It will
not, however, carry twelve volts to illuminate the rear lights. I've bypassed
the switch and the lights light-up just fine. I've tested the switch several
times and it reveals the same symptoms. It breaks resistance, but will not
carry voltage. Has anyone ever encountered such a perplexity?
