Couldn't say about the spacers. Compensation for some issue with the motor
mounts perhaps, or a tweaked transmission mount?

This car was sold at the Russo & Steele auction in Monterey this year for
$88,000. In my opinion, as nice as the body work looks in the pictures, it
is far enough away from the original that the price realized at auction is
likely all the money.

There is a Tom-Zat-style SS on ebay. It has what appear to be aluminum
blocks at one side of the transmission-mount cross member. Why do you
