Not sure who told me about this; maybe Fred DiMatto (excuse the spelling). I use a hot glue gun and put a penny on top of the battery. Doubt it matters where but I aim for the land between the top terminals. The GTV-6 has a battery about 7 years old now and that penny was on the one before too.
