While it doesn't apply to new brake boosters of the type that the brake fluid
goes through the unit, on Nov. 13th I posted where to look - and yes, you do
have to remove the entire booster.

While there is a form of return valve on these boosters, it is essentially a
diaphragm. These boosters Do Not use a return valve that attaches to your
inlet manifold.

I might be wrong here but if you have floor mounted pedals and it has one (or
two if a 1750) boosters, it then has the brake fluid going through the booster
'unit'. If the car has pendulum pedals, it then uses a return valve mounted on
the inlet manifold.

These boosters are not remotely similar to one another.
