Thanks, it could be flakey turn signal bulb filaments or connections, but they all seem to work, at the same odd lack of rythm as the indicator on the dash. Maybe just replacing them all would be a good test. Then there's the plug in TS box in the fuses area. The 4 way flashers haven't worked in many years, attributed to the flakey connections in & to/from the central panel which causes the elements of the climate control graphics to occasionally light up.
