Check the fuel pump fuse.B  Not sure for 1978 where that is.B  It could be in
the fuse box or underneath the shelf behind the seats.



Run 12 volts directly from the battery to the fuel pump and see it is works.



Replacing is not a job any mechanically competent person cannot do with a
few simple tools.B  If you do it, replace the rubber hoses as well .. use
"fuel injection" specified fuel line, not ordinary fuel line.
