Both great books, no Alfa content:

* Ian Bamsey, Anatomy and Development of the Sports Racing Prototype
Racing Car. Hardback, 218 pp, 1991. Covers serious technical developments,
aero, chassis, engine, brakes, etc. from the Lola/Ford GT era onward.
Super-interesting if you're into the technical stuff. A couple tears to the
dust jacket.

* Anthony Pritchard, Aston Martin-The Post-War Competition Cars.
Hardback, 200 pp, 1991. Covers all post-war race cars from DB1 on, up through
Nimrod of late 1980s, and the F1 era. Gives race history, development, drivers
involved, many disappointments. Great read. Foreword by Ray Salvadori.

$30 each includes US shipping.
