this milano has the original cassette unit, with the code that
needs to be entered if it's been without power. somewhere
i have that code, but it could take years to find it. this is a unit
that is fairly easy to remove/reinstall, with a single connector
on the back for speaker and power wiring.

1) does alfa have any records for these codes they can
look up?

2) if not, how much work is involved grafting in an alternate
radio? i have an old blaupunkt cassette unit and a somewhat
newer alpine cd player around here somewhere, both working
when shelved.

thanks,
  richard
