I had owned Alfa Romeos since 1969 until 2011 so I love the cars.
But : I had a "Check Engine" indicator come on my 2008 Infiniti G37S - the manual said make sure the Gas Filler cap was securely tight. It wasn't, and that was the problem.
When I talked to the Infiniti Service Rep about the indicator, I mentioned I kept black electrical tape for those warning indicators on my Alfas through the years. He laughed.
