what i do is

   chmod 755 scripts/wget.lfs
and insert into ./runit.sh

   scripts/wget.lfs required.packages.urls /mnt/lfs/sources
   scripts/wget.lfs optional.packages.urls /mnt/lfs/sources

above the line that starts nALFS to download all the packages before it 
starts nALFS
