In that case there is no conflicts. All that packages can be installed 
side-by-side and the dependant packages normally can use all of them if 
found.

But of course, a user may want to link that stuff only agains ALSA and not to 
intall the others ones.

Maybe a dependencies Makefile like the one pointed by Richard in blfs-dev 
could be usefull. Then the will can know the default dependencies and decide 
if the want to drop some of them before do the build.
