* It downloads the book source and recreates the makefiles every time,

It is not necessary to rerun jhalfs _IF_ you are just restarting a
build because of failure. You can go to $BUILDDIR/jhalfs and run the
makefile manually. The -M switch is optional.
* In the messages at the end:
It mentions METHOO=boot a couple of times in relation to CLFS.
Shouldn't it be METHOD=boot ?
"If the last, you must to mount the virtual filesystems"
"re-enter to the chroot"
The "to" should be removed in both sentences.
I will correct the typo shortly.
