I was thinking on that also. That could avoid the "convert CONFIG_XXXX n/y to
XXXX 0/1" in Config.in.

May be we should do that conversion when doing the planned clean-up.
I am going to start the output housekeeping this evening and once
that work is completed I will look at how to best implement the y/n
changeover. I do not want to break the experimental branch for an
extended time as we must continue work on BLFS.
