I cannot think of any real issues that would stop a 2.0 release.
Great. The merge will be done soon.
I have not done a build with the latest CLFS release but LFS and
CLFS2 look ok. I am sure there are bugs but it will take more than my
pair of eyes to spot them.
Bugs may exist, but looks like they are very hidden ;-)
Actually I can think on a bug. In LFS/master.sh the restart code should use
sudo to do the mounts, if possible, or removed if not.
When you merge jhalfs-X with the trunk could you delete this buggy
code from LFS and HLFS. I will work on improving this feature for all
the books in experimental branch.
Have you tried any build with the BLFS toolset?
Not yet. At this moment my machine is busy with non-LFS tasks. I will try to
do a build this weekend to test that blfs-tools dependencies and scripts
works inside the chroot.
(I am trying to build the clfs book but there seems to be server
problems at the moment and I cannot download the book xml file)
Ouch... I forgotten that for CLFS we should to start using
http://svn.cross-lfs.org/
That need be revised after the merge.
