Manuel,
I have included the ability for the user to add "custom tools" at the
end of final build. It is not fully tested but I expect to commit the
code this weekend.
Good.
I'm thinking to release 2.0 tomorrow, if there is no complaints.
no complaints..
This release will have no PACO patch included due that Tor is very busy at
this moment.
That meant that you could do that commit to trunk after having 2.0 released.
ok.. I will continue work with experimental for the next few days.
The tools are manually defined by filling in a template and added
automatically during the running of jhalfs. The user is responsible for
including all necessary dependencies. This could address the request by
Alan Lord (and others) to add other network tools or non-BLFS packages
during the final build phase.
Great. Maybe that could be used to solve also this TODO entry:
- To add support for copying to the final system pre-generated
configuration files created by the user, if that can be implemented.
For that to work the individual files must be copied to /sources and
a script would have to move them to their final destination. It 'may'
work but it may be easier to create a new function. I will look at it
this evening. (ahhh..the life of the idle unemployed.)
