Yes, when I deleted the blfs_root dir I experience the same failure mode.
Problem is due to a change in the tag directory layout for BLFS-6.3
for some reason. The path to blfs-6.2.0 is root/tags/6.2.0 but for 6.3
it is root/tags/6.3/6.3/BOOK.
An ugly work-around: (6.3/6.3/BOOK) Book version (Mandatory)
until I get some clarification.
