Yes, it will be like using menuconfig with the linux kernel. If the kernel
menu was built with ncurses 5.9 from the host, and then the host is
upgraded to ncurses 6.0 and ncurses 5.9 libraries were removed, then
menuconfig will not work. Rebuild the menu system and all should be fine.
Yes, rebuilding works, but the appearance is slightly different. The
items at the bottom, <Select>, < Exit >, etc all appear to be grayed
out. Only the first letter, S for select, etc is highlighted slightly,
and they do not work. The only think I seem to be able to get to is
