A number of bugs have been found in version 2.4 of jhalfs:
- Not all downloaded files were saved when "Retrieve source files" was
selected with "add blfs-tool support".
- Wrong path to the LFS book when "Rebuild the Makefile" was selected
- Bootscripts/Systemd-units for BLFS did not respect the BUILD_DIR and SRC_DIR
variables
- Arguments to xsltproc --stringparam were sometimes unquoted bash variables,
which could lead to weird behaviors if the variable was empty
- the date of the SBU/DU file was sometimes not the same as the date reported
by jhalfs at the end of the run
- Package management had been made incompatible with SBU/sizes computations,
because it included the packaging times and sizes

All those should be corrected now in the 2.4 branch
(svn://svn.linuxfromscratch.org/ALFS/jhalfs/branches/2.4), but some new bugs
may have been introduced, or some old bugs may show up.

So, please, could you test this branch? I think prereleases for a bug fix
release may not be necessary.

Thanks in advance,

Pierre
