Ticket http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/alfs/ticket/1729#ticket But actually the problem is not blfs_root, but $BUILD_DIR/var/lib, which is owned by root if nothing is done after func_install_blfs, but needs to be owned by lfs so that glibc can install /var/lib/nss_db.
