Time will pass and more and more OEMs will ship Linux as main OS, and that's a fact. Linux on Desktop? IMO Desktop OS should give people oportunity to do their profesional stuffs like 3D, Audio Mixing, Video Editing etc. not only internet and basic programs. I think Ubuntu is competing with a wrong competitor that is already beaten in terms of speed, security and stability. The main competitors should be the companies who play the huge role in Graphic, Audio and Video environments. Internet only Users? They don't care about their OS. By the way "Avatar" is rendered on Ubuntu, that's the real power that Linux can bring to desktop, but how many people knows it? I think that Ubuntu Studio is on the right way.
