Hi, I am working on airline ticket online purchase problem. I am applying the secretary problem algorithm ( optimal stopping ) to make the decision when to buy the ticket. Here anybody can provide me some very good papers that are talking about optimal stopping, please? I want to explore more about what this interesting algorithm can provide.
At the same time, I am working on a literature survey on the pricing area - making decisions when faced with time-series data. I have done some literature survey. However, I have not found a good paper. Can anybody here give me some suggestions on papers / textbooks that talk about the classic good algorithms that have been applied / modifed in this area, please? In summary, I want to hear you guys' opinion on the optimal stopping algorithm and some suggestions on the literature on pricing.
