If the integers are 16 bit, then why are you not considering that the sequence would be 0000000000001111,0000000000000111,0000000000000010,0000000000000001,0000000000000000,0000000000010111 in 1st example u gave and 0000000000001111,0000000000000111,0000000000000011,0000000000001110,0000000000000000,0000000000010111 in 2nd example
correct me if i have misunderstood the question, shouldn't answer be pointing to 13th bit of 1st index, here? secondly, i am not sure if you can really make the pointer point to any bit you wish unless you are assuming the memory address have unit bit word length. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Algorithm Geeks" group.
