in Hurry but giving approach 1st find the machine suing distributed algorithms from 1000s of server of such big sites i mean we have to 1st find the machine acco. to geographic location of user it gives us machine index say m_index;
2nd then in particular machine apply lookup function i mean then we database optimization needs to done as our user data stores in database we can't store such millions of user info in flat-files so i don't think we have to think about any string searching algo like KMP or Rabin-Karp (Hope I am clear)..so then we have to write most efficient & optimize query to retrieve the user info from database.
