Thats a language dependent question.Anyways for c use a buffered input reader like fread that reads all input at a go storing it in a buffer.You can then parse the buffer for input of your relevance. other way is to use a getchar(or getchar_unlocked) reading everything as characters and appending to buffer and then extracting the relevant stuff from there,
