DBMS is Data-Base Management System. It is the concept of managing data so that retrieval, modification, etc operations can be carried out efficiently. It has different models for implementation.
RDMS (Relational DBMS) is a model of DBMS that uses tables to manage data. Other models also exist, e.g. E-R, Network, Hierarchical.
