proof by contradiction:

if only 1 resource is the answer it causes deadlock as evry process req 2
res.
if only 2 resources is the answer it may also cause deadlock if 1 resource
is been assigned to 1 process.
if only 3 resources is the answer it may also cause deadlock if 1 resource
is been assigned to 1 process.

Now in case of 4 resources, the 4th resource helps in avoiding deadlock. So
in any combination it doesn't cause deadlock.
