Hi,
I'm trying to get a minimal version of Alice 1.4 on AIX running.
I have downloaded the following source files and compiled them according to
"readme":
1) seam-1.4.tar.gz
2) alice-1.4.tar.gz
3 )alice-runtime-1.4.tar.gz
Compilation and installation worked smoothly just out of the box!!
After setting the environment variable ALICE_HOME I tried to start
alice (in text mode) and got the following messages:

Am I missing something? Any help is very much appreciated!
I am using gcc 4.2.4 on AIX 5.3 (PowerPC_POWER5) a compiling a 32-bit version
of Alice.
