Yes its unfortunate but there are probably a few good reasons why a
version for Windows isn't available, this is all based on experience
I've had with audio on Mac and Windows.
Firstly with a Mac you have high bit and sampling rates built right in
whereas with a Windows PC the level of audio support varies widely.
I've written about my Rotel 14 system which at the heart of it has a DAC
which can support sampling rates up to 384KHZ at 32 bit.
The user can access those high sampling rates straight out of the box on
a Mac however a special driver has to be installed and then configured
if you wish to use anything above 96K 24 bit on a Windows PC.
